Memphis based guitarist/vocalist/songwriter John Roth, best known for his work with the bands Winger and Black Oak Arkansas, has been touring and recording with national acts since the age of 19. There's magic in John's fingers and music in his soul… Jim Dandy heard it and had him touring and recording with Southern Rock legends Black Oak Arkansas right out of high school! After this kick-start, John's reputation as a stellar performer and studio musician quickly grew along with the number of his admirers and he soon found himself in demand for performing and/or recording with top rockers including Winger, Giant, Jimi Jamison (Baywatch), and Survivor, among others.

John's original music reaches a whole new level of artistry. With songs like "Red Violet & Blue" and "Gettin' By", John showcases outstanding vocals and a songwriting ability equal to his already established guitar mastery! Combining the psychedelic influence of Hendrix with elements of old school funk and the raw edge of modern rock, John forges a style of his own that can be experienced on his self titled solo CD.

Most recently, John has been touring in Europe with Winger supporting the newest Winger release "Karma", and has also joined forces with the Melodic rock band Giant to record their newest CD "Promised Land", scheduled for release on Feb. 26th in Europe and March 9th in the U.S.
